June is Pride Month and our district joins in celebrating the resilience and contributions of the LGBTQ2+ community. SD48 continues to uplift equity, diversity and inclusion to ensure all SD48 students, staff and families feel welcome and supported. In June, SD48 observes National Indigenous History Month. During this month, we acknowledge the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples across Canada. The Government of Canada has a wonderful webpage that provides access to various resources to learn about Indigenous history, languages, cultures, and experiences.
