Measles Immunization Catch-up Campaign
Running from April to June 2019, the goal of the campaign is to immunize as many children for measles as possible in grades K to 12. Clinics will be held in our schools before the end of the school year, with dates announced later in the spring.
If you have any questions about the measles immunization catch-up campaign, please contact HealthLink at 811 or visit the Immunize BC website.
Health Canada has released a tip sheet to encourage parents to talk to their teen about vaping. Many vaping products contain nicotine, and youth are more sensitive than others to the negative and addictive effects of nicotine.
The sheet provides background information on vaping, the risks associated with the habit, as well as ideas on how to to start the conversation with your teen and keep it going.
