Q'aLaTKu7eM Community School's Trip to The Washington Kids Foundation

Students and families of Q'aLaTKu7em Community School just finished a fantastic field trip to the city hosted by The Washington Kids Foundation. The foundation has provided Q'aLaTKu7em Community School with support since the school's opening year. On this trip, students and families of Q'aLaTKu7em visited the facility in North Vancouver, where they worked with coaches and special guest Jevon Cottoy from the BC Lions! The Washington Kids Foundation provided the school with its bus and chauffeur. To finish the trip, students visited Science World, where they interacted with the various exhibits and displays.

This trip promoted physical literacy and mentorship, as well as science education!
